AYTB is the exclusive representative of Worldwide Analytical System AG (WAS) for the Gulf region countries of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, U.A.E., Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman. WAS is the manufacturer of equipment related to Optical Emission Spectroscopy for Positive Material Identification of Metals.

PMI-MASTER :
The PMI-Master is a rugged, portable spectrometer for on-site testing of metals. Operating modes include fast Go/No Go sorting, Finger Print Modes sorting and identification, Grade identification, Grade Verification, and a Complete Analysis mode.

TSA - TOTAL SPECTRUM AVAILABILITY. The PMI-Master uses the latest solid-state detectors to completely and continuously cover all wavelengths needed for on-site metal testing. The optimum spectral lines for all metal types can be used. TSA avoids the spectral line compromises necessary with systems that use slits and phototubes, and systems that use solid-state detectors, but fail to completely cover all wavelengths.

AUTOMATIC OPTICAL ALIGNMENT. TSA and pattern recognition software perform automatic optical alignment, or spectrum profiling, during the first few seconds of a test. The problems associated with manual alignment are completly avoided and the system can be used almost anywhere.

FINGERPRINT MODE SORTING. Every metal type has a unique spectrum, or spectral fingerprint. TSA makes available these fingerprints, which can be stored by grade name. Later, when an unknown sample is tested, the Fingerprint Mode will compare the sample's total spectrum to the library of stored fingerprints and display the grade type. Apart from storing the fingerprints for common metal types, the Fingerprint Mode requires no calibration and it is completely metal type independent. That is, different metals and alloys can be identified without changing analytical programs, or restandarizing.

ULTIMATE IN UPGRADE ABILITY. When requirements grow or change, new elements and new matrices (metal types) can be added with relatively simple and inexpensive software additions. Expensive hardware additions are not required and upgrades can be made with minimal downtime.

CARBON. The standard PMI-MASTER can test Carbon levels down to 0.05%. When levels below that are needed, such as in sorting and identifying the stainless steel grades, the optional UV PRO Optical System allows the testing of Carbon down to 0.005, as well as Sulfur, Phosphorus, Boron, and others.

The FOUNDRY-MASTER uses the well-proven Paschen-Runge optical mount with the latest solid-state detectors to completely and continuously cover all wavelengths from 160 to 800nm. All spectral lines for all metal types are available. TSA avoids the spectral line compromises necessary with systems that use slits and phototubes, and systems that use solid-state detectors, but fail to completely cover all wavelengths.
