Qatar Electricity & Water Company (QEWC)
Completed a three years maintenance & shutdown contract covering civil, electrical and mechanical works at Ras Abu Funtas power plant.
QAPCO Ethylene Expansion
Contributed with a construction project team helping to execute QAPCO Ethylene expansion project with civil, mechanical, piping as well as E&I work.
AYTB Qatar provided QATARGAS OPERATING CO technical manpower covering Operations & Maintenance Technicians to carry out the skilled maintenance, overhaul and repair of plant and equipment for Expansion.

SAMEF Project
AYTB was fortunate to participate in the major turn-around at Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery (SAMREF) at Yanbu in March/April 2010. AYTB managed the major mechanical activities at block 5, involving over 40 Equipment, three Boilers, six industrial heaters, two columns (strippers), Piping replacement, Valve handling, in addition to Operating Flare works. AYTB finished the Shut Down as per schedule using peak manpower of 600, with excellent Safety indices. There were zero fatalities, zero LTI, and zero recordable incidents over about a two-month period, including the on-site pre-shutdown activities. AYTB also achieved the Turn-around goal of “Zero Injuries”, and distinguished themselves as the only contractor with such indices. |

Saudi Trainee Program
After the successful completion of their craft training program in March 2009, AYTB is sponsoring a number of Saudi national trainees to undergo a one-year craft training program at the Jubail Technical Institute. |

News from Operation & Maintenance
* AYTB entered in to an agreement with Sharq to provide maintenance services under the Sabic Global Contract, for their new Olefins and Utility plants.
* During Aug 09, AYTB has committed to participate in a major plant Turnaround at Sipchem requiring over 425 crafts with supervision, tools and site-management support.
* Between April and July “09 AYTB’s Kemya maintenance project team successfully executed the complete re-tubing of two ethylene cracker furnaces.
* In March 2009, on behalf of Sipchem, Fluor awarded the pre-commissioning/commissioning support services Contract to AYTB for the Sipchem-JAC Project.
* During the January to June 09 period AYTB also successfully executed shutdowns at Saudi Chevron Philips and Sabic affiliates: Ibn Sina, Ibn Zahr and JUPC. |

AYTB was selected by Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Co. Ltd. (SAMREF) to carry out mechanical works and major projects for the 2010 T/A works. The basic scope of work includes as a minimum mechanical works for static process equipment and piping systems, stripping down and rebuilding of pressure vessels, valves, tanks, structures, heaters and other equipment. AYTB’s scope also includes fabrication, installation, blasting and painting of piping systems, process equipment and it covers the delivery of PWHT and NDE services. |

Industrial Cleaning ServicesIbn Sina,-Methanol Plant
AYTB was awarded a contract from Sabic –SMO for V-6 Zinc Oxide catalyst replacement for Ibn Sina. The main activities include: De-dusting and pre-bagging of catalyst, spent catalyst unloading, dumping and segregation of ceramic balls and loading of new catalyst and ceramic balls. |

AYTB to construct the Olefins 1 Plant owned by Yanbu National Petrochemical
Company YANSAB. The scope of work consists mainly of the following:
Piping , steel structure, mechanical erection in various operating
zones, Pre-commissioning as well as Reinstatement works.
Works are scheduled to be concluded March/April 2008 |

Jubail United Petrochemical Company
awarded AYTB a contract to supply (Pipeline and Mechanical Works
including Electrical instruments) all adequate and competent labor,
supervision, tools, equipment, installed and consumable materials,
services, warehousing and each and every item of expense necessary
for engineering, procurement of materials, installation, construction,
handling, hauling, unloading and receiving, testing, quality assurance
and commissioning of Gylcol Transfer and Storage Expansion Project.
Works are scheduled to end Mid Sept.2007 |

Ar-Razi Contracted AYTB to
execute similar works (Pipeline and Mechanical works) as described
above but without E/I. The project finishes Dec. 2007 |

ALIDossary concluded a contract
with AYTB under which, AYTB is to execute piping, pipe spool works,
perform dye-penetrant and radiography tests of weld joints and take
all necessary steps to run hydro testing to installed piping. Works
to start Sept/Oct 2007 and to end April/May 2008 |

Saudi Polymer Company has recently awarded ATYB a contract for the procurement and construction of the Brownfield Piperack for the National Chevron Philips (NCP) Project at Jubail Industrial City. The scope of work includes construction and site management for civil, electromechanical, piping, insulation and paint to be carried out in a “live” plant environment”. |

Petrokemya appreciated AYTB for meeting the eligibility criteria of their turnaround contractor safety, health and environment performance and completing the annual turnaround 2008 without lost time injury. |

At Saudi Polymers Co., AYTB have timely and successfully completed the demolition work of existing flare and pipe rack in relation to the flare relocation project. |

AYTB completed successfully the Kemya/Sabic Spent Caustic Deep Oxidation Unit Project in accordance with the scope of work. It consisted of civil, mechanical and instrumentation works inside the olefin plant. |
